dr. pranamya suri

Pranamya Suri is a Kuchipudi artist, physician, and arts educator whose work bridges tradition, innovation, and service. She trained from the age of five under her mother, Srilatha Suri, Sri Jaikishore Mosalikanti and Padma Shri Dr. Sobha Naidu. She currently serves as the Creative Director of Natyanjali Kuchipudi Dance School, where she helps mentor the next generation of dancers while preserving the depth and integrity of Kuchipudi.

Pranamya has performed across major cities in the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, Houston, and Washington D.C., and internationally in Belgium, Cambodia, Taiwan, Fiji, and Amsterdam. In India, she has performed at prestigious stages such as the Konark, Khajuraho, and Chidambaram Natyanjali festivals, and most recently at the Diaspora Festival (Chennai), Margazhi Utsavam (Bengaluru), and Kuchipudi Pathaka Swarnotsavulu (2024).

Also a practicing physician, Pranamya integrates compassion and care in both medicine and art. She co-founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on mitigating fluoride-related health issues in rural India, while also supporting cultural initiatives. Her accolades include Sringara Mani, Nritya Shiromani, and Natya Visharada. Pranamya continues to explore dance as a vehicle for storytelling, empowerment, and cultural continuity.
