Research Talk
This talk will explore the journey of ClimArts, a venture born from an entrepreneurial vision to merge the emotional potency of the performing arts with the critical insights of climate science. As its founder, I'll share my experiences as an entrepreneur – detailing both the challenges and successes encountered while building a unique platform that addresses a significant gap in our climate conversations. We'll delve into the heart of Indian classical dance, with its rich storytelling traditions, and examine how, when reimagined for topical issues, it creates powerful narratives that deeply resonate, fostering "New World, New Experiences" for audiences. I'll also discuss our dedicated efforts to collaborate with climate experts, ensuring that our artistic work maintains both integrity and scientific accuracy, ultimately demonstrating how art can drive meaningful engagement and action.
